Before and After Pics

Seeing all of your beautiful transformation pictures make me tear up with glee. You all are so beautiful! Even though I don't personally know ANY of you, I am proud of you, I am cheering you on. It's been very hard for me to accept being over weight. I was VERY fit and athletic all through my teenage years so I was used to being "skinny". Honestly the superficial thing I'm most excited about after I have my surgery in July is being able to have a thinner face. Sounds silly but I can't even stand smiling anymore because I look like a little dumpling.

Thank you guys for empowering me. Your hard work is not going un-noticed.

Hi everyone

I was sleeved on March 16

So I was a month out this past April 16

So far I've lost 23 lbs since surgery

I'm now on soft foods and I'm so glad to be one step closer to regular food. Haven't had any nausea or vomiting only thing is the Constipation which my nutritionist said now eating more normal foods should help. I'm so glad I found this board you have all helped me prior to and after my sleeve.

Here are my pics so far- day prior to surgery and 1 month post oppost-248169-1429408106372_thumb.jpg

Same clothes left is the day I was discharged from the hospital (the lady was my nurse. Everybody thought it was funny how short she is next to me). The right is last month at my 5 month post op. At that point I was down about 90 lbs since surgery. I have dropped another 26lbs since then.

I never did a formal 1 year picture. This is a few months before VSG (date of surg 3/13/14 about 330#), and today (13 months post op) 130 gone. 20 to goal. Would love to have plastics someday..... post-196853-14295038970016_thumb.jpg

5'6. My goal is 175. I keep adjusting it though. Not sure where I'll settle in yet. I'm very pear shaped. Harder to lose on bottom.

Sleeved on March 4th, 2015. The first picture I was about 15 lbs heavier than I was at the start of my 2 week pre op diet. Have lost 30 lbs since surgery.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
