I am packed....have to get compression stockings, neosporin, triple antibiotic spray, and the two pair of yoga pants, I bought at academy today, but left them on the counter!

Jesser...I will keep you posted! Vintage-starlet packed very lite!...toiletries, groved socks, pajama pants, tshirt, house shoes, extra bandages and tape, got to get neosporin, antibiotic spray, compression stockings, an go back and get my yoga pants I bought today, flying in and out in the same outfit, reebox tennis and hoodie, really really lite....

I wont be overpacking, but will have every thing necessary....no extras, face soap, lotion, tooth brush, paste, antibacterial safe gaurd soap, pads, shower cap, hair tie, deoderant, olive oil, mascara of course, and blistex, thats about it.....for now, every item of clothing can be rolled up....whewww!

Ok so I am March 22 with Garcia and will tab this post thread so you can keep us updated and to make sure we take everything we need and do not under or over pack!! So exciting!!

Girls to be on the safe side get some gauze and tape. I didn't have enough. Also extra panties, I had to wash some out, after a week of liquid going in that's all that comes out is liquid! Other then that you guys are in the right track, pack light.

      Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
