I have a question-when I eat' date=' I got hot after...I meant I sweat, don't feel well, etc. Is anyone else having anything like this???[/quote']

Have u been to a dr for blood work? A FULL blood panel-sugars- etc...! If not I'd go!

I did and my b12 was very very high!

It's a sign something could be going on -

Is it Every Time u eat? Does it depend on what u eat?

I do it sometimes w bread/sweets/carbs-- I'm not diabetic but it still can affect u- I call if my carb high and it makes me feel yucky! Could be a digestive issue also!

It has been 2 months since blood work, I am borderline diabetic and was low in Vitamin A. I took the mega doses of Vitamin A and now am on maintenance. I am going to call my GP today, thanks

Thanks. Congrats on 5 mo for you (:

Yeah I did have off this past weekend which was a nice break but back to 80 hrs this week too. Keep me out of the heat.

How have you bee doing Evolving? There are so many threads and posts I've missed out on. I do not have time. Today, since I was off the weekend I have time for a short while while making lunch. (;

I am going to see the doctor this evening, hopefully it is something simple

Are you taking niacin? (a B vitamin). Sometimes that can cause flushing. Also, you might want to see if your doc can rule out a hormonal influence, such as perimenopause, which can start in your 40s and unfortunately can last a while. Hope you get some answers and it's something easy to treat!

I was thinking I may be going through menopause...I was checked a few years ago, but was not. I don't get a regular cycle because I had an endometrial ablation done almost 2 years ago. I haven't had a period for about 8 months now....maybe....

That's exciting (: finishing school...and the hard part now finding a job. Good luck in your search. And same with size for me...I can't wait to shop in a "normal" size store.

Good luck with everything

Dr said I have vasovagal syncope. He thinks because I still have a large lower stomach that hangs and sits on my upper legs when I sit. It compresses the veins to my legs and causes pooling of blood in my legs. When I stand up the blood pumps to my legs and not to my head. This also happens after I eat, it goes to my stomach instead of my head.

He is also doing blood work to make sure there is nothing else causing it. So now I have another reason to get this weight off!!! We discussed having a panniculectomy- removal of my hanging stomach. He said it will be more successful when I get below 200 pounds...so there is another goal!

Wow glad u found the reason thanks for the update!

I've never heard of that-- was it your primary dr or your surgeon u went to-- side note-- would that mean it would be medically a reason for that surgery.., :)

Ill have to look into that and see if I could have that - anything u can do for it- other than weight loss?
