hey I'm 22 years old I just had my surgery on Tuesday I won't lie I had second thoughts about it butt I was ready.. I'm tired of crying when nothing fit me I was tired of everyone not accepting me for me this was my last choice I tried every diet but nothing worked... <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> but a day in the hospital was good I started walking and didn't have pain just beware once u r off the medicine from the hospital you will have alot of pain make sure u take your medicine anddd make sure u don't ask for liquid Percocet I did biggest mistake... and honestly it's best to buy a syringe may sound stupid but it helps honestly I love this app we can all talk and help each other.. I was 201 I'm down 193 and I just got surgery but honestly worse part is I like to nip at stuff soo sucks but Im okay with the Jello and all types of juice just make sure noooo pulp u ladies will be fine <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I wish u all best of luck

Had my surgery yesterday for the most part all went well. I only suffered stomach spasms when I woke up and into the night rather than pain from the actual surgery itself. I just did my leak test and passed so I'm sipping on my first Water righf now and have to do so every 15 min until I get 8oz down, I don't regret having this surgery.. I actually woke up this morning and was like "I did it, I really did it" I'm so proud of myself and all of you who have taken matters in your own hands to do something about it. I am still under the influence of dillatin and other drugs so it is hard for me to stay away... I'll update you later along with my youtube channel karishero.

How are we doing? I was sleeved on the 18th too and I'm curious to see how everyone else is doing? I'm feeling pretty good. Haven't needed to take my pain meds. Drinking ANYTHING is so hard, I feel like it just sits in my chest. Could be the hernia repair though. Hope everyone is doing ok!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
