My calorie count is easy. 1 slimfast shake plus 4 glucerna shakes equals 900 cals and 70 g Protein. That's been my diet for 12 days now :-(

That's where we differ. I didn't have to do a liquid diet before my VSG. I was put on a 1200 cal for the prior 2 weeks.

Moka' date='

One of the great things about God is that He knows intimately how to walk alone down a road where he is beaten, ridiculed, and ashamed. He will NEVER EVER let you suffer alone.

I'm praying that you see Him coming from the people around you. Every whisper of encouragement, every kind touch, every nurturing presence is His love for you, His child.

he and I are well acquainted. I will be praying for you with everything I have. I have my surgery the same day you do. If you want someone to call, feel free to IM me for my number.[/quote']

Thank you Kyeta96. For a couple of weeks now I've been scared & upset I have to take this journey alone. I was very concerned with recovering home alone. I'm prepared & I have everything I will need but it still doesn't remove the fear. I know God is taking this journey with me.

I promise you.... I just did this journey.... Let go and put your trust in god and prepare, expand your knowledge, it's much easier than we expect, especially when you have knowledge on your side!! You will do great!

I feel good today LaserSkinGirl. My anxiety is high but just like you & many others I can do this with God. I have a few things to do before Wednesday so I better get started.

Only positive thoughts!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
