Recommended Posts

I had no pain med since tuesday am. I had a lot of nausea probably due to morphine and anesthesia. Getting two oz Protein in every two hours. 4.5 oz liquids on the odd hours. Left side feels like bad pulled muscle. Walking as much as i can. also fighting diahrea and bad breath. I feel better each day. B3lching alot and some passed gas .

So glad to hear that you are doing well and are home. That bad pain on the right side finally went away for me 4 days post op. Then it is a full time job just getting in all the Protein and liquids. Please drink as much as possible. It was very hard for me but now I am 2 weeks out and can drink almost like I did before surgery. Protein is another thing for me. Having a hard time with that. I barely get 300 calories a day and a little shy of 60 protein. Getting in over 48 oz of Water. On the plus side I am down 29 lbs since pre-op diet.

You will do just great. You are a male and that is another thing on your side. Best of luck.

How can a bowel movement make me lose almost 4 pounds? How much poo am I full of?

I haven't pooped in a weed and I'd love a 4 pound poo right now lol

Lol, yeah, I've been known to drop 3-ish lbs after a good (and long awaited) poop.

.....or even after a moderate to severe dumping episode. yikes.

Those are championship cups for both you guys! :) I personally came up a 1.4lb winner this morning. ;) hehehehe.

I met with my surgeon on Friday.. I've completed all my tests and all my nutrition meetings as well as meeting the weight loss requirements for my insurance. We are officially submitting to insurance for approval and I was given a surgery date of January 16th 2020 (13 days before my birthday!) Fingers crossed all goes through

Ok, now im getting old...my body gets me up at my normal 5am dog walk even when it's the weekend, vacation, and most importantly when I'm sick. So now that I have more energy, my body wants to make sure I suffer even longer during the day when I have a cold! Damn being healthy again! (:D)
