I wonder, why don't I hear more about dr. Ponce de leon? I know he taught drs like Kelly, Almanza and Garcia, which is awesome! He also sleeved Almanza, as I understand it.

I have a very smart friend who used to be active here. She says she's very happy and that she wouldn't go to anyone other than Dr. Ponce dr Leon. I've seen videos of him at work and of the actual inside view of surgery and I'm very impressed.

I've talked to a couple members here who've gone to him and are happy.

I think right now price has something to do with it, there are other surgeons who are cheaper so they're the more popular picks. Also as was said on the other thread, the fact that he doesn't speak much english is probably a factor for some people. I'm very satisfied with my surgery experience with Dr Ponce.

I think you're probably right. Ultimately I chose Dr. Lopez because I felt quality of care was equal. There is an $800 difference in price. That matters for me. My family and I are on a tight budget, like most Americans, so I researched a lot to find a balance. Quality and cost efficient. I believe I did.

Price is part of why I am ping w Garcia, and it's only $300 for me.
