Hello, I'm new to the site, just got banded August 14th, it's been an adevnture and a real learning experience so far, a little tough sometimes, but I'm very excited about my new direction. Wish I had known about this site a couple of weeks ago, there's so much good info here, it would have saved me a bunch of silly worrying and questions. Thanks so much for all the great info, I've learned more in the past 2 days than I had since surgery:p

Welcome to LBT!!! I was lucky, and found the site during my research into getting the band, so had these great people all the way. There are many very smart people here, and they are very willing to share what they know or have learned the hard way!!

There is also a section of LBT that can put you in touch with people in your area. Look through everything, and ask away! This is one of the best things about being banded, is the friends I have made here on LBT. I was looking to lose and control my weight, and I have...but I have also made amazing friends!
