So it turns out I had a small hiatal hernia that they repaired. Its leaving me feeling like I can't drink water properly. I keep being air in and trying to burp the pain away. Still have a lot of bloating. Really need more walking.

I'm on day 6 of clear liquids. I've felt okay so far. Not really hungry. Just low energy. Today I have a new set of symptoms. I'm light headed, dizzy, and nauseous. I also have a super sore throat. Weird. Any ideas?

Get some decaf hot tea for your throat it will help. Are you doing your protein shakes? Cause I was like that too. I'm on day 7 now i'm drinking 3 shakes a day n i'm, not dizzy anymore.

Hi yall my name its.Jessica but ppl call me Jay. I'm having surgery on FEBRUARY 13th n i'm on my 2 week liquid diet! I'm very excited n can't wait. My motivation is my kids n husband. We are all overweight n IAM sick of it! So i'm grabbing the bull by horns now.

Good luck to all my sleeve sisters! Any questions on the liquid diet feel free to ask!

Poetikjay we are sleeve sisters...yay! Can't wait to get passed the surgery and on to the good stuff! Lol

Yes. Four a day. Maybe I should up it? I have no idea. I emailed the nurse and she told me to suck on peppermint. I'm assuming that makes sense to her, but it doesn't to me. :)

I am sitting in pre-op. I've had my blood thinner and anti-nausea med, IV is in. I go into surgery at 12:10. I am still totally calm. I think it may be because I lost a good friend suddenly 2 days ago. Her death at 30, although probably unrelated to obesity, has reinforced my desire to be healthier. I will post again this evening :)

Good luck Jeff!!!!!

Friends - I have had a protein shake break through! My doctor had created his own line of protein powers (among other things) and I was too cheap to buy them before. I have been so miserable on my liquid diet' date=' i decided to go for it. Best thing I've done! Tons of great flavors... The honestly don't taste healthy, haha. They are low carb and PACKED with vitamins! Check them out... http://www.bariatricfusion.com/[/quote']

Thank you for sharing!! Do you have a recommendation for me on flavor?
