Anyone Know Of A Small Vitamin?

Recommended Posts

Have you considered liquid Vitamins? My doctors off gave me a sample of Wellness brand but I never tried them. I am pretty sure they can be purchased at the grocery store or pharmacy.

Oh, good suggestion! costco sells a lot of different liquid supplements such as Multivitamin and d. The only negative about these are that they need to be refrigerated after opened.

I've gone with Celebrate brand. My GP also gave me Isotonix liquid - both seem to be great. Since the Isotonix is slightly fizzy, I stuck with the Celebrate - they're chewables but quite tasty.

One thing to beware with the gummies: they very frequently don't have Vitamin B1.

I use the women's one a day petite. I'm a gagger. I gag at everything. Told this to my doctor and they said to just try a multivitamin....this one isn't tiny but much smaller than others I've tried.

I use this one as well. I take one in the morning, then the other at lunch. It's much tinier and thinner than the other brands. I swig it down with some apple juice. I think they go down smoother with juice than Water.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
