Anyone Know Of A Small Vitamin?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a small Vitamin that I can swallow. Has anyone come across one? I bought one tonight that I seen on Amazon but its far from small. I have tried several chewables and can't stand them. I'm starting to feel crappy without them.

I use the women's one a day petite. I'm a gagger. I gag at everything. Told this to my doctor and they said to just try a multivitamin....this one isn't tiny but much smaller than others I've tried.

For some reason I can't swallow those long pills anymore and even have trouble with the smaller ones. Being the tough guy that I am, I just chew em up now. Pretty bad flavors. I tried just dissolving them in Water first but that doesn't work on all of them.

I have heard that some Vitamins are supposed to dissolve in your intestine rather than your stomach. I guess chewing them would ruin that.

I just bought the Natures Made new Mini's and they are working great...they are the only ones I have been able to stand and they are smaller. Target and costco both have them.

Aren't those a soft gel? I'd love to try them but was told to never take gels again.

I'd love to hear feedback on them

"gummy" things swell when exposed to liquids, and can cause a blockage in the sleeve. None for me, thanks! :)

I was told that also. My NUT and Dr both told me no capsules ever.

I put pills that are in question in a cup of Water for 10-20 minutes. If it doesn't dissolve properly there, it won't in my tummy. Super scary

That's a no thanks for me too.

Darn - thought I had found a smaller vitamin!

I throw some of my Vitamins in a crusher and then into my morning Protein shake. Don't even know they are there.

If a person can handle bigger pills is it alright to take them?

Have you considered liquid vitamins? My doctors off gave me a sample of Wellness brand but I never tried them. I am pretty sure they can be purchased at the grocery store or pharmacy.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
