you are not alone. Yea after surgery i am cold all the time. before surgery i was always hot.

here is a thread where people report being cold after surgery also.

Especially my feet !

2 years out and still cold. so, YES it is common.

Skinny people problems right?

I am never warm. Invest in a good lap blanket and some "cozy" socks. I have about 30 pairs!

Yup, I get cold ALL the time. And I mean all the time. In the morning in my home office with the temp at 72, walking outside at 60, even in the shower on previous " hot temps". Now I typically wear a pullover fuzzy coat when I am dressed and also wear nice warm coats outside. May start using a space heater at my home office and cranking the shower temp..all....the...way...up. The only things that warm me now are exercising at full cardio and sex. That's it. Sorry to be so frank, but this is. Real issue for me.

Cold isn't the word for it! I'm FREEZING!!! Cuddleduds and thermals here I come!!!

I am freezing! :-/

I have been cold lately to the the point that I'm using the heater. My ears, feet, hands, and nose are always cold. Before I didn't know what a heater was (jk) LOL but there was a point I couldn't stand the cold and I told my doctor we did some blood work and it came to find out that my iron was low :-/

Yes!!!!!! I used to be always be hot, now I'm always searching for something to cover up with.

I was sleeved on 11/13 and have been freezing ever since. I even have an electric heated blanket and it can't get warm enough. Glad I'm not the only one.

That is good to know being cold may be caused by having low iron counts. It may also be caused by lack of insulation. I am sure that the effects will become less pronounced as we get used to our new bodies in the elements around us. I am thinking about setting up a little space heater under my home office desk because it is not really practical financially to turn my thermostat up to 78 to counter the cold. Breaking out the winter sweaters today! I always layer now when I am at home and also when I go out. My wife is loving to rub in the fact that I am finally colder then she is. LOL!
