I was sleeved on the 13th, and I had the same thing. but had my first eggs today and i definitely over did it because I had a terrible "stuck" feeling in my stomach and chest for a few hours. very uncomfortable. -
So I've lost 40 lbs and my friends and family have said that I look like I've lost weight; but I just don't see it. When I look in the mirror I see the same big guy I've been looking at for years. Has anyone else felt this way?

I was sleeved on November 13th, and lost 30 lbs preop and another 10 one week post op. And Yes, my clothes are much bigger. I pretty much lost the equivilent of my 5 year old daughter. crazy.

I was sleeved on 11/13 and have been freezing ever since. I even have an electric heated blanket and it can't get warm enough. Glad I'm not the only one.

So I'm 5 days post op and every commercial, billboard, etc. is about food!!!! I really need some help, because as I sit here and sip my broth and jello, I'm thinking I made a huge mistake.

When did you start eating normal again? My NUT has me on a very strict diet for 6 - 12 months; which is good because I will lose a bunch of weight, but i'm curious when did you eat normal food in moderation? Thanks again.

Thanks everyone! It is nice to know that in the future I will be somewhat normal again. Until then, I'll stick to my diet... and try to ignore all those food ads.

I was worried about the exact same thing!!! My wife asked me if I was nervous about the surgery and I said no, I was nervous about a tube being jammed in my d***. I even asked the nurse a bunch of times to make sure I was out before they inserted it. I think I need a tatto that says "Exit Only"

Thanks for the support everyone, I buckled down and stuck to the diet and lost another 5 lbs.

So I'm on a high protein, low carb pre op diet. I've lost close to 20 lbs in the last month.. but I'm 11 days from my surgery and I cheated... I'm really worried, because my doc said if my liver is too large he will not operate. Help please.......
