My hair started falling out last month really bad and I started eating more protein...got a shorter cut and its doing alot better.

I feel so much better. Today I ran up two flights of stairs and back down and wasn't out of breath. :) My husband thinks I look sick and likes the first picture I refer to as the fat pic. :( I don't know what to do to make him see how much happier I am. I couldn't get attention from him fat and now I find out he likes me better that way. UGH. I'm not going back !

Congratulations!! You've lost so quickly. :) Maybe you should share your menu with me because I'm stalling all the time and I was sleeved before you and am only a t 72 pounds lost! :(

Don't worry he will adjust. It's just shocking to the people around you. I bet new people don't think you look sick.

Im not on any certain food or menu. I try to eat protein if nothing else. I havent started exercising either. My life is so busy I think Im stressing my fat off. Lol. I average 500 calories a day. Some days 200. Some days 700.

You look wonderful!!!!

You are an inspiration!

Congratulations!

Is he overweight at all? Just curious.. I have heard others talk about hubby's/ wives or friends not liking them thinner. :/ he will will used to the new you I promise. . He will have to.

Amazing. Well, my DH did not always think I looked great during the losing phase either.

But I do have to say...are you following your surgeon's diet plan. You are consuming way to little calories at this point and this will make you look (and feel) sickly. Sounds like your body could be in starvation mode with such few calories. Those who are not sleeved will not understand this...but EAT to live healthy. We all had VSG to lose weight but more importantly to be healthy.

So, eat to survive no matter if you do or don't feel like it. My hair (even with high protien & Biotin) fell out too for about three months. Stopped and then started growing back. Today I probably have thicker hair than before.

Your husband is only concerned. He may be frightened of who you are becoming. Really sit down and talk to him to see what his real concerns are and help him out. You are morphing into a new lady. Congrats!

Congratulations!!!!

Congrats

Thanks everyone. I appreciate it. My husband is overweight but nothing like me. He is 6'7 about 260#.

What I eat is always on the go. Its usually whatever i can throw in the microwave or eat on my way to work.

I wish they gave classes on cooking and eating after the surgery .
