now that i think of it, i guess i am getting sculpted because im having a fat transfer. im going to tell him to take from my waist to have a hour glass shape & from my back & is placing it in my butt. im 154 right now. i want to be 135lbs. i figure whatever he takes from my belly from a tuck will leave me at about 130lbs assuming ill have a flatter tummy then.

I wanna be scuplted too... But that one come until 2014. By then I would have all of my weight off and the finances.. I think we should make a group effort to get it done together.. if we can. That would be awesome.

See.. I won't need a butt..I have tons of that! lol but I definitely want an hour glass figure so I'm guessing lipo... A tummy tuck.. breast lift..arm lift and a thight lift.. I'll have to do my surgeries in stages..But I'll do the breast and tummy first with liposuction.. Maybe I can squeeze the arms in as well.. I'll have to ask the surgeon how many procedures can be performed at once..

Medical Tourism is becoming a common practice. I am scheduled to have my surgery in TJ,Mx in March. It is scary but the feedback from those who've done is very positive. Good luck with your decision!

Unfortunately I think people come to Colombia without doing the proper research. I've lived in Colombia for four years and I just had my VST in Colombia. I had care comparable probably to what I would've had in United States. I have had many coworkers and friends have plastic surgery in Colombia Bogota that is without any problems. Unfortunately' date=' complications can happen anywhere. I don't believe in going to any other country to get any procedure done without doing your proper research. Overall Colombia and the Dominican Republic are both Third World countries; however not every city is equal. Bogota is a developed city with good medical care. And believe me I'm not pushing you to come to Colombia to have surgery. I just don't want people to think that this place is full of hack job doctors because that is not true. I was on the same floor two doors down from the President of Colombia. Believe me when I tell you that man could go anywhere for his surgery and he had it here. Edit to add: I am not saying she came here without doing her research, but I know of one incident where a girl died from going to a "DR" with the lowest price. Research research and that goes for any country, abroad and US!!![/quote']

Hi, I'm Dominican Puerto Rican, married to a colombian! I had my surgery on oct 1 st and can't wait to get my tune up in a year or so! I do plan on ping to bogota Colombia for it! My mother in law went and she looks great! Her sisters went and still are great and everybody is from the us! As far as their family in bogota they all see the same surgeon and he is fantastic ! The care and help is also really good! I would recommend it better than dr! Although I'm from there I heard really bad stories and I know one of my moms tenets sister died from just a breast lift! Just be very careful anywhere u decide to go! And do alot of research on the dr and their patients first!

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I had about 6 months between deciding to do surgery and getting scheduled. I came across the book The Pound of Cure by Dr. Matthew Weiner, a bariatric surgeon in Arizona, and started to implement some of the changes he recommended (and lost 13 lbs in the process without ever feeling deprived). The book is very simple, and the focus is on whole, plant based foods, but within reason. It's not an all or nothing approach, or going vegan or something, but focuses on improvement and aiming for getting it right 80-90% of the time. His suggestions are divided into 12 sections that you can tackle over time, perhaps one per month for a year if a person is just trying to improve nutrition and build good habits. They range from things like cutting out artificial sweetener or eating more beans to eating a pound of vegetables per day. I found it really effective pre-surgery and it's an eating style I will be working to get back to as I am further out from surgery and have more capacity. Small changes you can sustain will do the most for building good habits for life.

That sounds awesome. I'll have to check that out thanks!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
