Plus Size Halloween Costume--Hoping It's The Last!

Recommended Posts

Love this thread..,Halloween is a huge deal for us! My family of 5 dresses in theme every year and I always have to start with mine bc it's impossible to find a cute one. We've been pirates, Wizard of Oz (guess who I was?!?!) and cowboys & indians. And I'm always sweaty. :o

This year my "tent" is a vampire costume. I've wanted us to be superheroes for years and next year we can bc I'll actually be able to find a costume!!!

YeAh we were cave people And it was hard finding that and the split in the skirt part was up my thigh and I have big thighs. One thing I can say is that after about 4 shots of tequila I was no longer worried about being the fat girl in the room. All though the sexy Indians and cats irritated the hell out of me! I can't wait until next Halloween!

So sick of trying to find a cute and sexy halloween costume every year that will actually fit me and not make me look ridiculous. I find so many ADORABLE costumes in the regular sizes and every year I want to cry. Really hoping next year I'll finally get to choose from the lot and not be stuck on the plus size page contemplating what to buy for our annual costume party. I hate being limited to my choices (and I feel the same about clothes)! Who's with me?

I do have some very nice plus size costumes if you're interested!

Thank you so much, but I have a bunch also. I usually splurge at Halloween on my costume so although it is a pain finding ones I love, I always do. Just can't wait until they are smaller! :) I have already ordered mine this year which is what sparked this post. I usually end up spending around $150 so I bet it'll be cheaper when I can shop anywhere!

You are so sweet to offer though. Enjoy your weekend.

I too love Halloween and I usually am searching for my costume in July or August...I found one that I absolutely love plus size or not but as everyone said I am going to enjoy the days when a regular size (if that is what you call them) fits me...And when the one size fit all fishnets fit. I usually order them off line too because it hard finding cute ones in just any store...I have always wanted to be a dominatrix for Halloween but you absolutely have to be rocking hot to make it work and so that is my goal next year...

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
