Morning and Happy Holiday's!! I'm trying to stay focus but it's really hard. I need to get back on my Protein Shakes to get off this stall. Working out daily but not losing.

Still determined that we can continue what we started!! Keep the Faith!!

Sugar is the enemy!!! I ate a cupcake the other day for the first time in a long time and boy did I regret it... Heart went to racing. I didn't like it and I know it was the sugar. Once we start eating it even in small amounts we begin to crave it so we have to avoid it.

Help! I was sleeved on Sept 24th 2012 and have been in a 2 month stall. I exercise 3-4times a week. My food choices are not always the best but I don't eat much of it.

Is anybody going through the same thing? Were you able to get over the stall? What did you do? I was thinking of going back to the Protein Shakes for a few weeks.

I have restarted to track my food on fitness pal…hopefully that will help.

Your on the right path...... Log every bite you put in your mouth.

I need to get back to basics myself. Good luck!!!!

I've been in a stall for months. Totally not uncommon. Not gaining weight, (except at that TOM -- and it goes back down)...but not losing either.

For me, I know I need to step up the exercise. Must be more diligent.

Green & Mom: I started the Protein Shakes yesterday. I'll try that for a week and see how it goes. Hopefully it will kick start some kind of weight loss. Really need to see a smaller number on that scale!

Good luck to both of you too.

Hello everyone!!!!!! I think we all need to check in and see where we are????

Let me start us off. I'm up a few pounds and need to gain control now. I've been struggling with maintaining my weight for a while now. I find it easy to eat junk. chips and cocktails have not been my friend. I told my husband today that I must work harder. I've worked to hard to get here and don't want to see my weight slowly creep up. I need to weigh myself more often to stay on top of this gain.

How are you all doing???

Any of ya start out at 300 or more pounds but only lost around 100lbs? I'm incredibly curious if my surgeon 's generalization of Sleevers was correct :/

start weight 335

current 220

need to lose 60lbs

surgery date was Septemeber 27th 2012

TamaraS, I started at 333 lbs and now weigh 212. I can't seem to get back on track! I still don't eat much in one sitting but I graze all day long...and not the foods I should be eating. I am exercising which is the only reason I'm not gaining back any weight.

Green: I know what you mean, I've stopped weighing in...guess I'm too scared at what I'll see!

Need to get back on track.

TamaraS, I forgot to ask, what was your surgeon's generalization?

Yes, I started out at 376 and am currently about 283. Have been for a year. Can't seem to budge it. Feel like I'm actually not eating enough. Possible?

What were those "generalizations" you mentioned?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
