I just checked in after being away for a little bit.

Easter was ok - I find that I am able to eat more at this recent stage which is a little scary.

I am 50 and have been pre-menopausal and it has really kicked in (last cycle was in January) so I am having increased hot flashes and all the PMS symptoms and not feeling a happy camper. I gained four lbs so currently at 161 from 157 over two weeks ago - have stalled, feeling frustrated, feeling bloated, and I was really hoping to be at 150 by my 6 month appt on April 11th, as my doctor had expected.

I feel heavier - pants feel tighter just from regaining four pounds and who knows how many inches. And was really disappointed that instead of losing down to 150 in the past two weeks, have not moved after regaining.

:(

I have had a sweet tooth lately too. Not sure why. I seem to be stalled again but that is my normal. It is April but still SO cold in MN. Looking forward to being outside more soon :)

Treating myself to a pedicure tomorrow!

I know how you feel. I have gained like 7lbs. Went to my 6mknth checkup and was advised that I really don't get in enough calories especially for my workout regimen. I have placed my body into starvation/survival mode do I have to change some things eat more etc. we will see. Hang in there. Aldo my Vitamin D was almost none do that has an impact on weightloss mood swings energy etc.

Hi everyone, I too have been able to eat a lot more lately. I don't know what it is, but I'm always hungry!!! Hope it's just a phase I'm going through...if not, then that can be really scary!

I can eat alot more now too but im fine with it. I dont feel like im eating nothing anymore plus i was able to up my calories to closer to 1200 to 1400 a day and weight still comes off. Its not healthy to still b at 600 to 800. I honestly think this was the best thing i ever did now i just can eat normal sized portions...well sort of normal lol

The other thing i can do is drink normally minus chugging. Tiny sips were annoying.

Now if i could just start working out

art sweetie up those calories before you go under the knife again. it worked for me .

sue nice pic

forme my d was low also and i hadnt taken my Calcium. once i stared the calcuium and d and one Meal Replacement and upped my cals and healthy fats i lost 4lbs that week. i was stalled for about 2 months. get those cals in mainly if you are really working out got to feed the body

teatimed its your metabolism try eating every 2-3 hrs small meals you must keep the body fueled or it will go into starvation mode.

jen i am with you on all of that. i stopped being scared of carbs and cals hell i cant eat much at one time what am i scared of. lol.

so good to see ppl posting. it really helps to talk to others going through the same thing. i to can eat more but in the same sense i cant eat more lol. hang in there next year we well be vets helping the newbies go through what we are going through. sorry for type o's i have to get dresssed for work and typeing super fast. later guys

Hello everyone,

Just returned from a beach trip for Spring Break. Had a great time. I was worried because we ate out alot. I had more calories than I'm used to. Got home last night and dreaded climbing on the scale. I was shocked!!! I dropped 2 pounds!!!

I'm now at 146 so 16 pounds from my goal.

So glad to hear from you all.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
