Hi there - I'm trying to get a frame of reference for the pain after getting sleeved. I searched the site for this but didn't find anything. Since I've had a c-section, I was wondering if anyone could chime in on their experience and compare the two. Thanks!!!

My whole story is in the stories section, (called someting like the story you don t want to read but should). Basicallly I had a COMMON complicatiion of internal bleeding. My life not consists of living in druggy lala land or having spasams all day. And just to add grins to giggles....I havent lost any weight at all. I butchered myself and and now debilitated, and still over weight. I am a very strong person....I cry a lot!

Yes but why the bed rest? Is that doctors orders or are u just to tired to want to get out of bed? Either way sending healing powers your way!

Yes but why the bed rest? Is that doctors orders or are u just to tired to want to get out of bed? Either way sending healing powers your way!

I walk around the third floor about once an hour but it's about 50 steps to get off the floor and I don't have the stregnth. one of the cheif complaintts of internal bleeding is lack of sregnth.

interesting post! i had a c-section on 3/14/10 and i had no pain. i am not even exaggerating. i was up walking around the day after, was released a day early from the hospital and then was driving by the next weekend. i hope the vsg holds up to that . i always heard terrible stories of c-sections and when i had to get one last minute with my daughter, aside from being scared of what was wrong with my baby but i was also afraid of what the c-section recovery would be like.

I didnt find the surgery to be painful at all. Maybe a little uncomfortable getting up every 30 mins to go to the bathroom, but not painfull.
