When Will I See The Scale Move?

Hey Guys!

I'm not complaining or upset or anything... Just wondering what your experiences have been. I'm 7 days out. Gained 2 lbs. in hospital and I am only down 3 from pre-surgery weight. I know my body is still bloated and swollen and holding onto fluids from surgery, but I so badly want to see te scale give me a dramatic first drop. It's crazy. I've probably eaten only a few hundred calories in the last week. I just laugh now after I weigh in in the morning, look at my belly and say "are you going to let it go today?" :)

How did the weight loss go for you in the first weeks and month?

  • I believe my weight loss did not accelerate until the 2nd and 3rd month. I remember thinking the same thing in the hospital. If it weren't for the morphine and vicodin it might have bothered me.
