6 days post-op. Feeling great. No problems or issues. Good luck to all those who are getting sleeved this week.

4 days post-op and still drozy! Not to mention lazy.....how'd u shake it?

I am also day 6 postop. No pain' date=' nausea or other issues. Making my protein goal (it takes awhile) and fluid goals. I feel like I am constantly sipping something and am full. But otherwise feel pretty darn good![/quote']

All the stuff I drank b4 make me nausea.....how'd u shake it?

SO FRUSTRATED!!! been at the hospital since 11. I was supposed to be operated on at 2:30. At 3:00 they took me to pre op and put the iv in. That was 3 HOURS AGO!!! They cancelled all the surgeries after mine and they are still doing mine. I've been on clear liquids Friday thru Sunday and have had NOTHING since 9:00 last night.

I'm anxious enough and this is driving me crazy!!

I switched protein powders to something that wasn't as intense and has 21 g. Also using almond milk instead of skim milk. Definitely hurts if I drink too fast though!

Questii. I was sleeved on the 10th. I feel good, liquids going down well having a problem getting the protein. I'm on full liquids for the next two weeks.

I'm having violent chills, I'm cold to the bone. Then I will have a sweat. Is anyone having problems with chills. I check my temp and it normal.

Well, Wednesday will be here before I know it. I have been on a liquid diet since Friday and just blew it. I ate 3 townhouse crackers! I am so mad at myself, but my stomach was rumbling terrible and I was feeling nauseas. I hope it didn't effect much. My nerves are really starting to get to me. Really looking forward to the mag citrate tomorrow. NOT! Good Luck to my fellow 10/17 sleevers.

Cold all the time. I used to sleep in a tank top all winter long because I couldn't tolerate tee shirt collars or sleeves. Now I sleep under covers head to toe, in my furry robe.

So it normal to be cold? Will it stay this way?

I was told that after sleeving, you cold tolerance would definitely decrease. No idea what the science is to this.

Ok got my TSH leveled out so everything is a green light for me now:) I am just waiting for the office to call me and set up a date... I really may be able to set something up for the end of month??? IDK but we shall see.

My hot flashes have decreased as well. I am a week and a half post-op haven't noticed one in days.

Ok 10/15 OctoSleevers... This is it!! In less than 11 hours I'll be whisked away into the operating room for the journey of a new life!! Best of luck to everyone & I'll see y'all on the loser's bench!!!

Thinking of you with a lot of love!

Oops! Hit the send button too fast! Just wanted to give everyone an idea of what the scars look like. I will be 2 weeks post op ok Tuesday. The first picture is of my largest incision (where I believe they took my stomach out of) and the 2nd is of my overall abdominal area. I do plan on using scar cream..although from the looks of it I may not need it

You are healing great. You really inspire me. Thanks for your positive energy.

For all who had VS already, do you think if my friend has a surgery on Monday she will be able to go sight seeing for a few hours on Thursday?

I shopped after my surgery in August. You do not want to lie in bed, it feels better to get out and move around. You may not want to count on her being out for long periods of time but 2 to 3 hours at a time, with places to sit and time to drink some fluids, she should be OK. I had a very easy recovery, was sleeved in MX and flew home 3 days after surgery. Once I got home I felt much more weak and tired than right after surgery.

Surgery done Monday Oct 15! I am feeling great now, but honestly fe lt like a mess this morning. I awoke with a lot of pain and nausea. After the nausea wa controlled I felt so much better and have not needed any pain meds. Hope everyone else feels as good as I do :)
