A nurse by profession and engaged but no kids. With my history of PCOS kids will come after I drop the weight. Starting weight: 280lbs Current Weight: 275 and losing everyday!!

All done!! Just waking up from surgery and am on my room. Mouth is dry but that's expected. Nurse gave me glycerin swabs to wipe the inside of my mouth. I am so happy and look forward to the rest of my recovery.

Was a bit nauseous in recovery room and remember saying I was scared ...but was already done.

It's almost 1am EDT here and I just got up for my first walk. I felt really good. I'm encouraged. No gas pain yet...

So today is 2 days after surgery definitely can't keep up w fluids it hurts so bad to swallow and have the worst sore throat

So, I was feeling good but now I can't take any liquids without vomiting Anyone else have this problem?

Emily! I was the same way I think it was the reality of "this is it". And everywhere I went, I'd see McDonald's, etc. and think to myself "never again". I was starving! (Or so I thought)

But I'm happy to say that I made it and I'm currently in my hospital bed having been sleeved Monday night. You will make it as well. Keep the faith.

Don't give uo, it is super hard but the results are many. I felt the same way b4 my 14day pre-op diet and I lost 18# before surgery. I was sleeved 10/11/12. U can do it!

Ewwww that gastro ugi is horrible! Hope you all can tolerate it better than I did

It was the absolute worse! Yuck.

Ok so I told myself that if I could make it 3 weeks on the preop diet without cheating then I would have my favorite breakfast today, favorite lunch tomorrow and favorite dinner Friday. Then liquid diet Saturday and Sunday. Today I got 1 kolache from the kolache factory. It took me 30 minutes to eat it. And now I feel like I have a rock in my stomach!

Just got back from leak test. Cried because I felt I was going to vomit. Didn't though.

Today is one week till surgery and I am very excited!!!!!!!!!!!! Started my liquid diet today so far so good!!!!
