What Is Your Goal Weight ?!

Recommended Posts

I'm 5'11". Highest weight was 357 in early march. 323 when i started my 2 week pre op diet. 299 day of surgery 7/30. 12 days post op i'm at 278. I would like to be around 200. The normal charts say i should be 175 but i just dont think that is right for me. I have always carried alot of muscle. But you never know i'll cross that bridge when i get there.

I'm 5'9" and my goal weight is 160 at least' date=' maybe 150. I remember that weight and it has been a long time since I've seen it:). I was size 10 to 12, but not that concerned with size as long as I never have to go to the plus section again![/quote']

I love this not shopping in plus size again!

I am a couple weeks away from getting a surgery date and starting an Atkins style low carb diet to prep. I read all these stories and pray this will work for me. I will cry when Ann Taylor size 12 fit. 10 I will pass out. 8 well we will see if I get there. I am sure as hell going to try like I won't fail. Sceptical.

I am 43 yrs young. 260 lbs wearing size 18 or now 16 in some dropped 5 lbs. I would like to drop 100 lbs. If I do my plastic surgeon is going to nip tuck anything that isn't right. Then I will go back to Maui to parisail and have the wedding photographer that shot our wedding there take hot pics of me!

Just curious as to what everyone's goal weight and size is ?! and how tall you are and your age <3

My surgeons goal weight is from 105-112-_- I personally think I will look sickly at that weight so I made my own personal goal of nothing bigger then a size 9 and a weight of 125 <3 I am 21 and stand at 5'4

That does sound very low for a goal weight I myself am 21 and 5'4 and my doc wants me at like 140

My goal weight is a solid 220. I am 5'11" and 33 years old. I am hoping that when I lose the weight,,,, I lengthen a little bit.... LOL... I've always wanted to be 6'0" tall.... LOL... Not sure if that could actually happen.. but eh...I can at least wish. :)

I am 5"8 I began this at 233. Had a food funeral gained a few pounds. I'm on the pre op diet. Surgery is Thursday 8am, I weigh 229 today expect to be 225 or 223 surgery date. I am 36 years old and goal weight is 170. At 206 I wore a size 12 so I should be a comfortable "healthy" at 175.

I'm 29yrs old .. 5'7 1/7 my pre op weight is 280 my goal weight is to be 150 but my husband think I should be 180 my weight before having kids .. He prefer me thick as he don't care for skinny women so I guess I just wait to I get sleeve and go by how I look and feel to decide my goal

My husband likes thick women too I was 155 when he met me...I think I would've happy with that weight I just want to try for the 135-140 so my BMI willve in normal range:)

I am 31. 5'5 ish and I want to be size 8 or 150. Whatever happens first. I might go down to 145 just to give me some wiggle room.

Did your dr set a goal for you? I'm also 31 and 5'5" and my dr said I should be able to get to 120! That seems super skinny to me so I told him 130-140. Ideally, 140 would be my max for a healthy BMI, I think. But I don't remember ever being less than 165 so anything less would be a dream.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
