Embarassing Question- When Do I Go #2 Again?!

Omg, so embarassing, but I haven't had a bowel movement since Aug1 (my surgery date). Mind u, & not to be gross, but that bowel movement lasted 20hrs! & all I've had to eat is liquids since. But when do I start to get nervous? Is this normal? Or should I do something about it? I'm not even taking iron yet, cuz I knew I might be sensitive. & there is fiber in some I'd my shakes..

The things we took forgranted in the past!!! Just think, it's the small things in life that can make us smile! We are happy just to be passing gas!!! I love this site! There's always something said

If you are not putting anything in, there is nothing to come out. Once you have food with substance, you will go within a day or two.

Are you experiencing any flatulence? If yes, then you're probably fine. If absolutely nothing is happening down there I'd seriously consider consulting your physician.

I bet that's the first time you ever said that.

I was exactly like Nathalie, 6 days post-op, not much and it has been pretty much liquid since then.

I had my 1st the very next day after surgery. I have plenty of gas and I hate it. everytime I drink my protein or something cold it gets worse. This is the the worse and my only complaint thus far since getting sleeved.

I am also in your shoes!! I went #2 the day before my surgery August 3rd and still haven't gone! Just gas! Haha I was starting to worry too until I saw this thread! Thanks so much for asking

There's always something said that will make me smile or laugh each day!!! I'm am cracking up laughing, OMG!!! Please, I'm not making light of the question asked, because that was my #1 question at my 1st post-op visit yesterday. The answers today are the same my doctor told me yesterday! Wish we could put all this gas in our gas tanks, talk about a natural, low cost energy source! Have a great day guys:)
