Is yours on and off' date=' too? Like mine is worse with movements, but sometimes I can move around just fine with minor pain. And as for pain meds, I ran out of my liquid loratab around a week post op..so I don't know what to do. And yep, the ER visit is out of question for me..too much money already owed for the surgery itself as well! Hopefully we will be better soon![/quote']

Call your doctor and ask for more pain meds. Tell them what's going on. You are not going to be treated like a junkie. ;-) its not really that high level of a narcotic.

Children's liquid Tylenol works well, too, and was recommended by my doctor since narcotic pain meds cause Constipation.< /p>

Omg, I was just going to post the same thing!! I dread sleeping bc I am woken up by HORRIBLE pain with certain movements. And when I sneeze I feel like my insides just exploded. On the incision over where my tummy is left of my incision. I called the doctor this am and she said its just healing and if it gets worse to call. She said I could take tylenol pm or Benadryl for sleep. Auh!!!! It hurts so bad!!

Thanks to everyone who has shared on here I was sleeved on the 19th of July and last night I woke up with this cramp/stinging pain right under to the left of my belly button and it has not gone away since. It does come and go but a majority of the time it is there and it has me hunched over in pain and barely walking at times. I was starting to get scared because I lifted a bag of dirt yesterday and thought maybe I tore something but as I am reading this everyone has put my mind at ease, so once again Thank you

Hello, not to scare anyone but just my experience. Sleeved July 31... No pain or meds since released from hospital. Woke up yesterday with pain on left side and around big incision site. Called Dr and was adv to come to er( only bc never felt this type of pain)... Got to er and was admitted bc of high blood cell count. My body had a reaction to the gtube. Had xrays to verify no leaks and gtube was removed immediately.. was told some people bodies cant handle objects inside( glad i didnt choose the band!) But I feel soooo much better today!

Good luck to all

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
