Same here the Google play store.

OK I know why it's doing that... you're probably trying to access on your mobile - it's probably prompting the Play Store to come up when loading the mobile version of this site in the phone browser, because there is a standalone VST app (an app for this forum). When I try to load the forums on my device it does that to me, even though I have the stupid app installed... go figure?! Damn technology

I dunno maybe try and access the link to the group on a desktop if possible, join the group, and then access it with your devices? Or I can just send you all an invitation, that might work better too... stand by

I just did it on the home computer. I was going to do a post however was not sure how no start thread button.

I just text Dawn about the home computer. We used to be co workers and became friends how we know one another.

Hi all! Just found this thread! I was sleeved by Dr Caveretta on July 23. I've lost 20lbs so far. The first week was hard, the 2nd week i suffered from dehydration and the 3rd week I feel almost back to myself. I actually love synergy! They took care of me every step of the way. They saw me the same day i called when i was so sick 4 days post op. After reading posts on this site I can't believe how much more knowledge I have than others. I feel that they armed us with great information. Of course I am a dork and read the packets through and through before and after surgery. I loved Ann Marie and Nicole. I loved the required classes we had to take. To me they were extremely educational and helpful. I met both Caruana and Caveretta both seemed a little stuffy but their successful surgeries speak for themselves. I can't believe it will be a month on Tuesday already!

I just got a call today they're switching me from sept 16 to sept 11. Anyone have pre op class Monday morning?

That's great news! At the pre-op class they'll talk about what to expect with surgery and go over the pre-op diet. They'll also give you resistance bands and show you how you'll be using them. You'll get more info to add to that black folder.

I threw up for the first time today...augh! I think I over did it with my 5 spoonfuls of peas and then on top of it I had 2 tums. My tummy did not like it and it was not a pleasant experience to say the least :-X

I meant this Wednesday morning and I fear puking. That's the worst feeling ever

Another thing that also worries me about this surgery is the puking too. Not worrying of the actual throwing up part, but the "what if my fresh new tubular stomach rips open from a forceful heave???" type worrying... now THAT is what scares me. What are the chances of that happening? Has that happened to anyone before? Erff...!

I would add that I find Dr. Pham to be a very intelligent surgeon. Perhaps one of the most compassionate people in the medical field that I have come across. Nice to hear that others have had positive experiences with their surgeons.

Fantastic to find a group of WNYers here. Not surprising that the group is energetic and willing to help out others.

Feel free to email/PM me if you have questions. I am not as good at responding to the forums/boards.

Wishing everyone the best on their journey!

I came close 2x however did not throw up. And I do not think it is possible to tear open what is left of your stomach.

Fellow Buffalo gal here too! I am 8 weeks post op from surgery with Dr. Posner at BGH. I am doing great and have lost 40 lbs. it has been a wild ride, but I am happy I did it now after a few weeks of "what did I do to myself".

When I get threw up my stomach felt like it was being ripped out as well...but don't worry its still there and I'm still alive lol. Didnt take long to get over it
