Diabetes & My Sleeve!

I am happy to report that I am free of diabetes!!!!!!!! Hallelujuah. Thank you Jesus!!!! I just came back from my endocrinologists office and I do not have to take anymore insulin. I am going to continue to check my sugars once/twice a day just as a safety precaution but otherwise I am done. I am so happy!!!

For all of the diabetics out there there IS a light at the end of the tunnel!

POOF IT'S GONE!!!!!!!

FYI: I was sleeved July 17th... It's August 1st. Now how do you like them apples!!!? *Happy Dance*!!!

  • Thanks Everyone!!!!!

It feels so good, doesnt it!

I have been pronounced free of it for almost 4 months now.

My PCP won't say that I am not diabetic. He says my diabetes is "controlled" despite the fact that my a1c and blood sugar have been normal for 6 months. I'd say he's full of @#$&.

That's awesome I'm praying for the same results!

Great for you, welcome to tgd club. Been pump free since 12/15/11, sleeved on 13/15. I wish everyone a success story

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using VST

That's great to hear I'm praying I get the same results after I am sleeved

I too am praying for the sams GREAT results/news. I was sleeved 7/19 and do not go see my md until late Sept or early Oct for him to run my a1c. Fingers are crossed that the weight will melt off between now and then so he tells me the same good news.

Congrats and keep it up!
