Ive heard this a hundred times this week.

I notice the grey bags under my eyes that I don't usually have. I notice I'm tired.

I'm 3 weeks post op. sleeve, gallbladder and 2 hernias.

No proper BM since surgery, mostly diahrea (sorry)

I have a massive seroma over one of my hernia repairs (200mL or almost a cup drained last week and back again now)

I make Protein a priority. I take multi chewable x2 I take Calcium.< /p>

I don't yet take B12 or Iron.< /p>

Appt with NUT tomorrow. Do I ask for bloods?

Is this just normal, to be so tired, pale, bags?

Any advice or ideas appreciated.

I was also pale for about a month after surgery. I do believe it was due to lack of nutrients. That first month was just ah hard getting where I needed to be Fluid and Protein wise. Not to mention all the trauma your body has just been thru. However I'm sure it's due to lack of nutrients, I also got super pale when I was pregnant, I just felt my son draining my nutrients.

Wow, your surgery day was a busy one. Not sure what you are consuming now, but I do agree that a lack of nutrients is the probable culprit here. I'm betting most likely low Iron. I'm confident your nut will make he needed adjustments though.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
