Beat Me, Beat Me, Ooh Yeah Right There

Recommended Posts

Lol I am reminiscing about my days in the hospital and that terrible left shoulder pain. I was telling anyone who came to visit to beat my shoulder. I was moaning and groaning and my sister said, "good thing you aren't being recorded." I did not care how it sounded be ause that was the best beating I ever had! Ooh yeah, ahhhhh, mmmmm, right there, harder, harder, faster, ahhhhh! Just having a post-op flashback! Lol

Wait. I'm confused. Are you saying anything would be better, laughing about it, or saying if you get punched in the shoulder it alleviates the pain?

I'm 2 days out on liquid diet... I could go for a knock out to be woken up in 10 days. B)

I had my his and with me- and I SWEAR it got rid of my gas in a matter of a couple of days because every time I felt it - he would burp me- even today if I eat too fast or have a bubble- of I lean forward and he runs or pats my back - it comes up- I have never been more thankful of anything in my life like I was for him there by my side in Mexico- burping me like a crazy baby :)

Absolutely! Tonight I was in absolute hell after trying to eat ground beef. After nearly 2 oz, I had pains worse than labor contractions. Two hours of sheer agony ensued. Twords the end, hubby was ' burping' me as I cried, and vowed to never eat solid food again!

Haha! I thought u were talking about something else. I just have one question. I really miss my husband, (wink wink), when can we, well u know. And if we can hook-up, (wink wink), me climaxing will be ok. I'm only 9 days out but that's all I can think about because it's been too long for me. Lol! Help! I'm just curious! If I have to wait still, ok fine I'll keep taking COLD showers! Lol!

My doctor said that although ground beef is ok...it is dry when cooked, which adds to the misery. he suggested roasted chicken shredded with mayo for added moisture. Tomorrow's dinner!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
