I don't think I changed clothing sizes until I was 3 months (frustrating!) into the process then I really started to see the changes in the size I wore and how much I weighed. I had surgery in November 2011 and now I have lost 110 lbs. I still have 50 more I would like to lose but it does slow down plus I don't always eat what I should. Your weight does fluctuate throughout the week so choose to weigh yourself on a certain day each week and only let that day count. I still weigh myself each day but only Mondays count:) It does go up and down depending on if I drank water or pop or if I had a lot of sodium.

Of course y ou will lose more! 85% of your stomach has been removed! Your body is adjusting. Just follow your doctor's plan and you will do fine.

Why is there weight gained ? I'm not understanding? I barely eat! Example today protein shake breakfast salmon for lunch 3 bites nibbled on salmon for dinner theme 2 bites of spam & 62 oz of water what's wrong with that

I gained 1.4 pounds this morning. I am frustrated, but I know it will go away. I think I need to take some magnesium. :)

Mine is sloooowly creeping off as well. My surgery was June 13th and I've only lost 17lbs. Not getting discouraged yet!

There's nothing wrong. It's your Body's metabolism adjusting that's all. My first two weeks after being sleeved I dropped 35 lbs fast. Now in the 2 weeks following I haven't lost a thing. I'm sure the 35lbs was Water weight mostly. Now my body has to adjust to the new routine and way of eating and everything else that goes along with being sleeved.

Don't worry, in time you'll start loosing more. Just stick to a reasonable diet and keep hydrated and things will be fine.

where is your am snack? you have to feed your body to fuel your metabolism. eat small meals every 3 hrs. dont starve yourself its not good your body goes into starvation mode and you wont lose anything

I would say to ad an additonal protein drink as a snack in the afternoon. Since you can't eat alot, ou will need to drink more of them to get 60-70g in. The more protein you eat, the better for our weight loss. I am 6 months and still drink at least one rtd protein drink every afternoon.

I bet this is my problem. I am just so full all the time I only want to drink Water and I still feel thirsty.

I use fitday.com to write down what I am eating. It gives your the Protein count and everything. Best of luck to you. Today is my 1 week surgiversary and I am not going to weigh until I see the surgeon next week. I don't want to be held captive by the scale. I am just trying to follow the program and have faith that it will work.

Take care and I think adding a snack in is a great idea.
