Well, the time has finally come. It is July and tomorrow at least 18 of us (I think) will be getting sleeved! viva la July 2nd! lol.

I saw a similar thread for June and thought this would be a good idea for support while in the hospital recovering.

I will be going in, in 28 hours to be exact. Then my life changes forever....I wish everyone the best of luck especially my independence day siblings all 28 or so of us being sleeved the first 4 days of July.

Good luck safe journeys if going to Mexico and I will see you on the losers bench where we will all be winners!

Well, I'm back sorta they will be moving me out of icu today. In a lot of pain and discomfort gas plus muscle and tummy pain, but I guess thats normal.

Was only able to do 2 laps yesterday and it was rough.

Haven't tried food yet, doing barium test in an hour, then if that goes well clear liquids.

Hows everyone else doing who was sleeved yesterday?

Well after 3 days I'm going home, ready to start my new life.

Will keep you posted on my progress.

July 2nd sleeved here too, new to the site! So many wonderful people and threads here!

Post op 3 days.. All in all I feel like everything is going great, I haven't taken pain meds in about 22 hours now. I'm not feeling too much pain just gas pressure that comes and goes. Almost feels like labor contractions...working on learning what I can eat and how to SIP drinks! So far so good! would love to know more about your personal experiences. The good the bad and the ugly!

Doing pretty good, little sore and tender..

One of the incision sites is on a fat roll that has shrinked to half it's size and folded inwards a bit, and that one is a little tender right now...
