Hello Gang,
Just to bring you up to par. I was sleeved on 5/30. I had a couple of complications such as : vomiting, tubes and lights being placed down my throat etc. I am now doing better with the vomiting. I have a couple of questions. I should be able to eat mushy foods, however I am not able to do so. I tried to eat some mash potatoes, and when they went down, It felt like my stomach was grinding them and it was sorta painful. I tried to eat some soft noodles, they went down ok but a little later they all came back up.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this something that I should be very concerned about? When will I get back to being normal?
After what I went thru at the hospital and having to stay 8 days instead of 2, I am really nervous. I try to drink my Protein drinks and Water, but I am never able to finish the entire bottle. I hate the fact that I feel every thing that I drink go down in my stomach.
On another note, I have lost 20 pounds. I know this is a lot and quickly considering the fact that I am not able to eat foods.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for all of the prayers that went forth.
