O M G!!!!!! Absolutely stunninggggggggg!!!! Extremely excited for you. I'll be getting sleeved August 28!!! A little nervous. You seem to have no loose skin at all!!!! That's great. I'm really afraid to have loose skin and shedding of hair. Did you encounter these problems??? Did you work out?

You look amazing..def an inspiration

You have really rocked your sleeve!!! What a terrific job you have done. All your hard work really shows! You will do FAB in maintenance!

LOL ... I love you guys... I really can't say it enought thank you sooooooooooo much!!! I have to admit a lot of my success came from this forum... it came from everyones support and luv for each other! when I first started trust me I was asking allllllll kinds of questions.. and it was because of the other vets that I was able to have the journey that I had so please feel free to ask anything.

I do have some lose skin, but honestly every day that I work out or do my exercise I am toning up little by little, the fact that I started working out at week 3 is probably what helped a lot and the fact that I always did some sort of exercise even before the surgery.. I exfoliate and use firming lotion just to aide in the process. Its still there, and im sure after I have kids i will want a Tummy Tuck. lol. the real issue that I have is genetics... I have strech marks everywhere which sucks but the only thing that will make those go away is time, your skin is always shedding cells and eventually the strechmarks will fade but the only thing I care about is me being healthy... If a guy doesn't want me cuz i have stretch marks or a little lose skin... well ...HE CAN KICK ROCKS! but thankfully I have a man who loves me for me.

I have had a lot of people message me, and I just want you to know I don't mind it one little bit, I will answer any question that you might have to the best of my ability... just as others have helped me im just payin it forward. :o)

I haven't been posting lately because honestly.. im not sure what else to say.. I have had one hell of a journey these past 6 months.. and I feel terrific.. I just want to let anyone out there that worried know.. if you work your sleeve it will work for you!!!!! I couldn't be happier.. Im not even sure that I want to hit goal because im really happy with where i am at right now.. i always said that around 160 would be good for me because i have a lot more muscle than most so at a heavier weight I think I look ok.. So instead of waiting to hit goal I am officially posting my before and after pic. Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
