Candida And Carb Cravings?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone own these boards think they may have candida? I Suspect I do because I crave carbs everyday, Am fatigued and have depression as well as brain fog and poor concentration. I am not going to go into detail about candida treatment other than to say that a food plan limitng carbohydrates is highly encouraged. This reminds me of the post up food plans.

Did you have surgery with the doctor knowing you thought you might have candidiasis systemic enough to cause you to alter your diet? I was told if you are thought to have any ongoing Candidiasis it had to be treated first. The "shock" of surgery can allow candidiasis to spread rapidly, especially if the surgery cause an infection that required antibiotics.

If you think you have candidiasis please make sure to go to a doctor and have cultures done on the spots where you think you have it. You need to know for sure, because other serious problems are similar.

Sorry its just that your post caught my eye. I had a friend thst nearly died to to mistreatment. They kept giving her antibiotics abroad. It was horrible. Talk about weight loss! She went from 5'1' 130 lbs to 72 lbs before she got any real help.

Wow thank you so much for your head up on candida and surgery. I did a little investigation and discovered how critical it can be. Most western physicians don't understand canada unless there is an infection after surgery. Unfortunately they give an -ozole drug which just stops the symptoms but doesn't kill the fungus. Why is it is diagnosed I'll go on a round of Probiotics, fungus killers and a low carb diet. I am relieved to know this could be a problem so that I can take action.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
