Are we doing another challenge? I would like to lose another 10lbs before I plunge into lower body lift fun and these challenges help keep me on track.

I starting using the Body Bugg and I love it. Instant information. I think my platueau is starting to leave. Yeah! Down 2 pounds this week.

Are we going to have a nother challenge or has this group outlasted its usefulness? Everyone to busy with summer?

I seem to be the only one who is really struggling right now. My knees are finally enough better that I'm getting some decent low-impact exercise. So far it has only toned me a little and I haven't lost anything, but I know that's how it goes initially when you start exercising after being "dormant" for a while. I still have days when my knees bother me, but those days are getting fewer and farther between!!! I am so thrilled with that you just can't imagine.

Summer is really crazy for everybody because of vacations, but for those of us who still need to lose quite a bit of more weight, maybe we should re-group in September - at our 1 year mark - and set new goals and have a new challenge for inspiration.

Right now I would be up to start a new challenge, but I don't know if there are any other takers. We could do something between now and the one year mark because I'm going to be pretty depressed if I don't lose a significant amount by then. So many of you have lost so much - like 100 LBS!!! - and I'm still at the same place I was at 4 months after surgery.

Sound off - any takers for now or later?? :nervous

I have been away for quite awhile. Please include me in the next challenge and I promise to do better about being on here. Thanks!

I'm in on another challenge but I don't think I am reliable enough to keep score this time around...

Almost all of you are doing so great. I'm afraid that in 9 months I've only lost 25lbs. My Dr. asked if I wanted them back on - and of course I understand his point - but come on....I've invested all of this money, risk, time etc and for only 25lbs? I've had 11cc's in my 10cc band for a few months now and can't believe I'd need another fill. The first 2 weeks after a fill - I feel great - only need to eat small amounts of food to stay satisified, but then for the weeks remaining to my next (requested) fill - I'm hungry again. My Dr. pulls out the saline to make sure it's not leaking - and it's not, so I'm so confused. Is this happening with anyone else?

Hopeworks: Maybe you need the thicker fill material, instead of saline. I believe it's called opalesense?

I will keep score this time around. Let's report in on Mondays and we can track weight and exercise. Should be go to Labor Day? What goal should we set? Feed back please.

Labor Day sounds great! It will also be one+ year out for us. I can't believe it has been that long.

Kareyquilts thanks for agreeing to keep track. I'm afraid I'm not online often enough or perhaps responsible enough? ;)

How about 15 pounds by then? That's roughly 2 pounds/week.

Start me at 175 as of Monday June 9th. Thanks!

karey: I had no idea that there was more than one kind of fill material. I'm glad you brought that up. I'm going to ask my doc about it next time. I got a fill on Tuesday and I went from 2.8 to 3.0. So far I haven't noticed any added restriction, but I have noticed that I am not as hungry. YEA!

I'm not sure why lisa is retro-ing her start weight. Are we back tracking to June 9th?

I really appreciate you doing the record keeping!

Let us know when our actual start date is and then we can all get our weights recorded. I'm all for the Labor Day deadline. BJ

Labor day sounds great! I am shooting for 15lbs so that also works out well. I think Lisa probably meant July 9th :)

Thank you Karey for keeping score this time around!!!

Count me in... Been a rough summer...I am starting at 209. Started Curves 2 months ago and haven't really lost weight...but did lose 3 inches. Still trying to get below 200.

I really want to be 165!!!!!

:whoo:I am getting conditioned to run/walk the 10K on 28 October at the Marine Corps Marathon in DC. Would love to be down 15 pounds by then.

Keep me motivated:help:.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
