Surgery Tomorrow!

Nerves aren't a factor yet. I'm sure I will feel differently when I check in at 5:30 in the morning. Today I am doing straight water until midnight when I can't have anything else. I kid you not I'm sick to my stomach. The smell if food is making me sick :( I'm so ready!!! Kinda scared of how ill react from anesthesia since this is my first time going under "/

It was rough, not gonna lie I did cheat one day and had a grilled buffalo chicken wrap. Then felt really bad and went back on. I was allowed to have crystal light, jello apple sauce, icees, pretty Much anything decaf, and sugar free. And two Luna bars a day. I lost about 9lbs during the two weeks even with the cheat

The anesthesia is the easy part. Most doctor's will say something like count backwards from 10 to 1 when they inject you but you'll be lucky to get the word "ten" out. The meds go in the via IV. Then you just wake up...you'll be cold but they have blankets that have been warmed. Don't forget to ask for a small pillow so you can cough. The coughing is normal but hold is tight to your belly then cough. It will still hurt a little but not as bad without the pillow. Good luck...and welcome to the club. :D

I am sure everything will be fine. I am nervous about my surgery too but we have come too far to look back now! I will be praying for your quick recovery! :)

Good luck!! I'll be praying for you and your speedy recovery!

Good luck and congrats!! This time tomorrow you'll be on your way to a new start at life!

Good luck...ill be praying for you...youll be fine...I had surgery this past Wed and it was the first time I went under anesthesia..first time having surgery...the anesthesia is the easy part...they will put you to sleep and before you know it you'll wake up and its all done...be strong...your gonna do great.

You're going to blink your eyes once and it will be over! Anesthetized sleep is different than normal sleep because you wake up with no concept of elapsed time. Best of luck, we're all on the loser's bench for the winning team, rooting you on!

Wishing you the best tomorrow and a speedy recovery. Please give us an update as soon as you are able.

Good luck and congratulations!
