    Oh, the hospital does provide a spirometer. I had to ask for mines after surgery!

    My surgery was 1-17-13 I say travel as lightliy as possible if you can. My husband went with me and we both had carry own bags and it was a plenty on the trip home for him. After surgery instructions were to not lift anything heavy and My husband ended up wrestling with two carry on bags and a backpack. I only took two sets of PJs, 1 pair of yoga pants, one tshirt, warm socks, slippers, and my TSA approved quart size bag. What I wore down there is what I wore back home. I kept it simple and was glad I did!
