Fit Into A Size 16 This Morning!

Recommended Posts

This morning I fit into some size 16 jeans and a top I haven't dared wear in a while because of my fat stomach. I'm sure I can't fit all 16s but it's my first size down and I'm so excited I'll just wear this pair like they're going out of style! :.D

Congrats on fitting into the new size!! You won't wear them like they're going out of style, because they will be way too big soon! :) You are rocking that sleeve! :)

Great job. Yesterday I was able to fit into a size 16-18 top because of my stomach getting smaller. Now if my butt would shrink also... lol

Great Job! I too, have just gotten into a size 16, and xl shirts. I went threw all of my stuff, and got rid of all the 2x and size 20 pants. All thats in my closet now is size 16 and xl, normal sizes. I was sleeved 12/12/11 and have lost 50 pounds, I have 50 more to go, and I love to spot a person, that I don't know, that looks like they can use some help, and than ask them if they would like a couple of bags of clothes, some with tags still on, and they almost always start to cry, thats my little pay it forward. :D

Wonderful! Big huggs for you!

I am still not sure if I am a size 16 yet - but I did fit into a "L" from the "pink" line at Victoria's Secret.

Pookeyism, you are at VS? Great job! That is so rewarding in it's self. I love some of the clothing from VS. I am now in a size M. I by passed the L really fast. But I can sometimes get away with wearing an L. Keep Rockin that Sleeve! ;)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
