:wow2: Drews. Very pretty and colorful. What beautiful feet you have!!!

Good news. My first fill is scheduled for this Friday. Finally!! I got voice mail again today and I called back and told the receptionist I was staying on the line until I got a live person. The office mgr took my call and made sure I got the correct person to get this scheduled. I'm really excited. :clap2:

I have to take my youngest son with me b/c I don't have a babysitter. I'm sure they can give him a vest to wear while in the room. Does anyone know of any concerns taking your kids with you during a flouro?

Hi everyone

I have been pretty down because of the scales not moving. But there is something to be said for staying the course. I went for over a week with no loss. UGH! Then I got on the scale today and I'm down 5 lbs! YEAH! That gives me just 2 lbs for my Sept challenge. I can hardly believe the way my clothes "don't fit" anymore. But I refuse to buy new summer clothes since it will only be a few more weeks and our dress code at work changes to pant/skirt from the casual capri.

Ugh. I totally overate yesterday. It wasn't a bona fide binge like the good 'ole days, but it was way more than the 1-2 cups of food I'm supposed to be able to get down. I at an entire CPK chinese chicken salad and two enormous handfulls of graham crackers sticks in one sitting. *gag* I've only been banded a few months and I've already stopped paying attention. Not good.

I called this morning to schedule another fill.

Checking in for the challenge. Crappy week... no loss, in fact I gained back a few I lost last week. I attribute that to no work outs this week as my foot has been really sore and swollen since I got my tat last week. It is starting to feel better though and I go for another fill next week so all is not lost. I am struggling with this though. This is the first week since I was banded in May that I haven't lost weight. Kinda hard to get my head around. :cry Kinda need some support right now. Just tell me everything is going to be okay! I know I have plenty of time to lose but I want it gone now! I know I probably sound silly as some people haven't lost in quite awhile.... but perception is reality and right now this is my reality.

Peace.

Hey Drewslou,

I know it's hard when the scale doesn't move. It is amazing to me how one little square gadget has so much power over my daily emotions!

The bright side is, you know why the scale hasn't moved, you love your tattoo, your foot is feeling better and now you can get back to you normal routine and start losing!

Sleepyjean -- I know how you feel. I haven't loss anything in THREE WEEKS!!!! And I'm eating a whole lot more than I was. I need a fill! Thank goodness I'm getting one on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I eat without thinking and there are no consequences. No pain, no PB's, no nothing but a burp after a while telling me enough is enough. It's not nearly what I used to eat, but it's too much to really lose with.

Drewslou -- hang in there! Thats a beautiful tat. I've thought about one on the top of my foot but thought it would really hurt. I know what my next one will be......a winged victory! If I can find a good picture to take to the artist..........I want to get it after I've made it to Onederland. It's been so long since I've been under 200 I figured it would be a good way to commemerate and to remind myself never, ever to gain it back.

It's back to work tomorrow :cry .....I've been on my seven days off.....and we have MSHA at the minesite. Oh, joy. Ever since the fatalities in Kentucky and Virginia at the start of the year, MSHA has been everywhere and rather unreasonable. They need to concentrate on the underground mines and not the open pit ones. The vast majority of fatalities don't happen at the type of mine that I work at. In the 26 years I've worked there, we've had one fatality in the pit. Most of the MSHA inspectors don't know what they are looking at and don't pick up on the important stuff and get hung up on the little things that don't mean anything. It makes my job so much harder and of course causes stress which makes me.........

EAT!!!!!:hungry:

(yes, there was a reason for my rant!:heh: :heh: :heh: )

I went through a horrid period of weeks without losing so I know how difficult and frustrating it is. But I started moving again and the sunshine returned. Be sure to send a pic of your tat when it's healed...! This will pass and soon you'll be losing again, you'll see.

I also went through a tough 3 or 4 week period where I kept losing and regaining the same two pounds. thought it would make me nuts. But now the scale is moving again, which increases my motivation and elevates my mood.

DL, I love your tat. Hope your foot feels better soon. Keep going everyone. Every day we don't gain is a step toward progress.

We were banded on the same day and I haven't had any trouble with my port site until the last couple weeks and now it kind of pinches/aches. I can only think I did something to pull on it? I would have thought it would have healed and be snuggly settled by now. Wonder if anyone out there knows what this could be? I have been trying to be aware of what I do and have been putting my hand on the area when I exercise.

I am so excited today because I am only one pound away from my twenty pound goal! After all those weeks of struggling I have been losing like crazy. Guess my bodies apologizing for putting me through the depo frustration...

Hope the rest of you are being successful, too.

Other than some unexplained port pain that I've had on and off for the past few weeks and not enough restriction I'm doing well.

Hugs to you all.

GREAT JOB Janey!!! I'm proud of you!! I lost 1 lb this week and it figures the scales would move since I'm getting my fill tomorrow. Not that 1 lb is so significant, it's just I can relate to those who seem to be stuck. I'm hoping a fill will be just what I need. As a matter of fact, I know it is.

I maybe a boo boo last night and forgot to sign off. Holy cow, I've been signed in all day and have been gone. My son has been ill with a cold and he was up with me till 2AM or so. Thank goodness he is better today.

Oh, no!!!! My fill appointment for Tuesday was cancelled!!!!!:faint:

Now I have to wait till Sept 21 to get my next fill. :think :angry :think

I'm going to just have to tough it out, quit relying on my band to control my eating and really really really watch what I eat and how much.

I know I'm going to be really hungry........

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
