Almost 8 months out and this signal has been going on for about a month. I make a plate and if I am done I look at the plate and take a deep breath like...I am done...no more...that's enough. It always happens unless it was just a small snack like a piece of cheese. I just don't want anymore. I feel fine, no sick feeling I just know if I keep eating I will probably get sick. I don't have the hiccups anymore. Sometimes I can eat a lot more than another day, but no matter what I have an automatic system and most of the time there is always still food left over. I also don't feel bad anymore about throwing it away if it isn't something that I can reheat.

I have a living disposal -- My Dog! Hee Hee! Seriously though, my signal is one small belch. I get shocked sometimes by the little it takes. So either I package it to sit in the fridge, throw it in the trash, or give it to my dog. I'm careful to monitor the amount I give him, so I don't make it a daily habit.

Since my capacity has increased a lot recently, it is good to read that the restriction lasts much longer! :) I think I'm probably at max capacity for my sleeve. I'm able to eat between 6 and 8 oz now that I am fully healed. I hope that's going to be my limit. :)

Today was my first day eating real food and it did feel good to have a warm satisfied kind of feeling which I never had with liquids. I have to admit that I pretty much stopped eating when I was just bored of it! It took so long to get 2 ounces of tuna fish down that I finally just put it away! I used to wolf down food. I finally realize what a difference this surgery has made.

I guess it will take me some time to truly determine what full feels like. Right now I am just being very careful not to overeat.

When I'm full, I get this ick feeling. Then I will start sneezing and get a runny nose,so I try to stop before this. Sometimes my stomach actually stings when I eat something with sugar. I'm still learning about my stomach. ;)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
