1 Week Post-Op Is Not What I Expected!

I am down 9 lbs from last week, and that is good. I am eating soft foods and doing ok. The doc removed my drain today.

My Mom died yesterday. I have cried so much I feel like I have pulled something loose. My Mom is gone.

Not the post I expected to make, but it has opened whole new issues.

Keep me in your prayers, please!

really sweet of you to reach out when your heart is broken. i am so sorry. what a test. it is physical pain to

loose our loved ones. it hurts. its like a bad dream at first. sometimes it hurts to even breathe. what i can say is that it takes a good person to share the pain. its one hour at a time. and then in a year or so one day at a time.

(((Pookeyism))) I'm so sorry!! That's the absolute hardest thing to deal with at this point in time! My best friend passed on Jan 7, 2012, so I've been a little hit and miss on posts here. I'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner!

Very sorry Pookeyism. I just saw this post, truly hope you and your family are healing in all ways. I am sure your mom would want you to make sure you take care of yourself.

My best to you,

Sandy
