The Dandruff Are Gone!

Recommended Posts

I used to have lots and lots of dandruff for 4-5 years, and nothing helped. I used to wash my hair and 30 mins later, when I combed it, I could see the little white pieces of dead skin falling off it already. 6 weeks post-op and it's 100% solved, no more dandruff.

I've no idea what was cause, and I'm not sure if it's PCOs-related and whether the change of food following the surgery helped, but I'm quite thankful.

(Still waiting for regular menses and less facial/neck hair, doesn't look like either will happen any time soon).

I've never heard of PCOS causing dandruff, but it's cool that yours is gone! I have PCOS too, and bad enough dandruff that not even industrial strength Head and Shoulders would help <_<, so you give me hope that mine will go away, or at least lessen!

Congrats to you!

(I, too, wish the regular TOMs and less facial hair would get here sooner rather than later ;))

I lost 20 plus pound during pre-op and by the time I had surgery my periods were regular and they have come every single month since. Less facial hair even taking a supplement for my Hair loss. Started to really notice a difference around 5 months. I havent heard of the dandruff either but I wouldnt be surprised....I consider myself cured of PCOS...a wonderful benifit of the sleeve.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
