I'm In The Hospital

I am asking for prayers tonight. I got very sick last night and developed a temp of 101. My surgeon told me to go to the ER to be evaluated. A ct scan and upper gi confirmed I have a small leak. Out of several thousands, I'm the 2nd one that this has ever happened to with my surgeon. Everyone here has always been very supportive and I appreciate any words of encouragement. I'm feeling quite down right now.

Prayers headed your way for a full and quick revoery. All the best to you! You will get though this bump in the road!

you know, I have this weird thing about thinking about how we can help ourselves....I'm visualizing that little leak being soothed by the care you are getting, and being able to close itself. visualization and positive thinking are powerful things. you are strong, imagine that leak sealing and you getting better and better! Much love.

I'm so sorry that you have had this set back on your journey. I hope that your recovery is speedy and that you lose a lot of weight during this time so that something positive comes out of it! :)

Stay positive and know many of us are praying for you!

Peacequeen, I'm sorry to hear you have a leak. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hang in there.

PeaceQueen so sorry this happened. You are right though now that it is found, you can start to heal and will be and feel so much better and begin your real journey. Just look at all of your support here, people do care.

Take care and rest.

All my best to you,

Sandy

I had the band for 10 years - don't be fooled that it is without issues as many band patients have terrible side effects especially a few years out....

while trying to decide between the band and sleeve this is terrifying. I'll keep you in my prayers.

PeaceQueen - hugs and lots of prayers for a speedy recovery!

Hello Peacequeen, ThinkIng of you and hoping this note finds you feeling better today and your silence is a sign of restful healing! Let us know that you're ok. Take care!

Just a bump in the road. At least you know what the problem is now and your on your way to being better. I too had complications. Not a leak but a stricture. You will get better. Take one day at a time. I am going to pray for you that you have a quick recovery.

I am so sorry to hear about your leak, I glad that you caught it, I wish you a very speedy recovery!

I'm praying for you & sending positive thoughts to you, peacequeen! You need to pat yourself on the back for recognizing your danger signals and reporting them to your doctor immediately. The hospital is where you need to be to get the best care right now. I hope you heal fast and well. Stay Strong!!! :)
