October 22 Check-In

Recommended Posts

Hey friends! I lost 2.1 lbs this week, weighing in at 229.2 lbs today. I am very excited to be out of the 230s finally! And this means I met my Halloween goal of 230 lbs nine days early! I may be losing slow but I do love my sleeve :-)

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

I am down 3 pounds this week after stalling last week. I really wanted to be under 200 by Halloween. Looks like I will probably fall just short. I am however very very thankful for my sleeve....and shocked at the difference it has made. Down 41 lbs since surgery and 56lbs since the start of the year.

Down another 2...still the same issues with the big d and not able to eat much in dense Protein. I did eat half a meat sandwich yesterday and did not feel sick so I was happy about that. Still love my sleeve tho!

I've been weighing every day, but I basically lose nothing all week, then have little mini-whooshes on the weekend. I think its because I'm currently working 2 jobs (one is just Monday-Thursday) so I'm not sleeping more than 6.5 hrs/night. For some reason, my body doesn't like to lose weight when I'm not getting enough sleep.

As of yesterday, I was 211.5, which is just under 30 lbs down, including the pre-op. Tomorrow will be 2 months since surgery. That's only 20 lbs since surgery - 10 lbs/month. I feel like I'm a REALLY SLOW loser, and it is so frustrating.

I've been having problems getting all of my Protein in because I just haven't been able to force myself to drink my Protein shakes. I know this is really bad, and I'm going to get back to business this week.

I lost 2.2 last week and I am at 201.4 - SO close to Onederland I can taste it!! I have a check up with my surgeon on Thursday and I would love to be under 200 but I have been a fairly slow loser so don't know if I'll be down under there before Halloween. I'm crossing my fingers though! :)

I weigh every day... I guess I should pay attention to my weekly loss, but I just follow my totals... 30 since surgery 80 all together. I am now halfway to my initial goal. I still can't get in much more than 600 calories or 3oz of solid protien.

I'm down to 214. Started 276. 257 surgery day. So down 43 since surgery. Feeling good. Still not able to eat more than 800 cals a day tho, and that's on a really good day. Usually around 600

Hi everyone...sorry for posting so late. I am down to 205. I have been craving olives and gouda cheese like crazy. But since TOM has completed I don't want either as much as the week before and during cycle. I did loose 7 lbs--I think last week. Leg is really bothering me. I have one more month before my surgery.

Hubby ticked me off said my skin is getting soft, I need to workout so it can be tighter. I almost slapped him. Its true I need to get in the gym with the weights but my right arm is killing me. I have to work it out some way. I'll go tomorrow since I will have access to the car.

Have a greta week everyone.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
