I don't think it is so much that we cannot ever sample foods that we have had problems with - that decision is up to each one of us and a personal choice,but rather it is simply dangerous to advance ones diet after the procedure ahead of the advice of one's medical team - and I suppose that too is a personal choice. That said, Dreamlife I wish you the best on your journey to better health!

I'm 2 weeks out and have stuck to the Clear Liquids for a week and now on to cloudy liquids. I can eat a bowl of Soup in about 30 or 40 min with no discomfort, just slow and easy. I seem to be hungry a couple hours later. I think. Stomach will ache a little like hunger, just still trying to learn my sleeve. I don't have a big desire to get off the path yet, I'm a liitle freaked out about doing anything to my staple line. I can't imagine eating a burger...and that was my deal. LOL
