Medifast after surgery

Hi all! My surgery is coming up and I have a few extra boxes of my medifast! Is it ok to use up my medifast as my protein drink after surgery? I'm cheap and dont want to waste it! LOL!

Just curious cause they dont offer you the option to buy the medifast after surgery! Thanks!

how many carbs does it have? And calories? Does it have enough Protein?

i just got off the clear liquid phase and now am onto puree. I have been finding it hard to get in protein and food at this ppoint, so the last 2 days I have had my medifast shakes.

ex. dutch chocolate 70

110 calories

13 carbs

4 dietary Fiber

9 sugars

14 g protein

at this point i am focused on getting protein in. i didnt get much in earlier and i actually felt sick. our bodies definately need it to feel healthy.

good luck

i guess medifast would be fine. Too bad it doesn't have more protein. I was on bariatric advantage and i think that had like 27 g of protein? Good luck :)

As long as you get in your protein for the day, they will be fine. I wouldn't want to waste them either. LOL
