  1. Good grief girl...after 14 hours of work, you need to relax Seriously though - If you cut back on the working out, you will see a difference. I know, been there, done that!
  2. Oh honey, take a deep breath...you are going thru normal anxiety and everything will be ok. You took a huge step deciding to sleeve. When your doubt creeps in, remember that unless you take care of yourself and your health, you can't truly take care of your family. Those who depend on you need you at 100% for the long term. And being overweight and unhealthy is not in their best interest either. Try to focus on the positive, not the "what if's) (which is easier said than done) Sleeving is the best thing I have ever done for myself and my family. Hope this helps you a tiny bit also wanted to add - there are so many success stories posted on this board. When the fear and anxiety sets in, read or re read them. So many amazing life changing examples of how good your life after sleeving can be!
  3. You are doing amazing well girl! My advise is going to be counter intuitive but my recomendation is to cut back on your exercise. Your body is adjusting to the stress it just went thru and with your lower calories and high exercise, it's adding more stress. I would cut the treadmill back to 3 days a week for a few weeks and see what happens. My bet is you start to see a loss on the scale again!
  4. I was given a 30 day script post surgery. I never had issues with acid/GERD pre surgery so getting off of it post surgery was no problem for me. What's interesting to me is that at 11 months post op, I started feeling intense hunger. After reading this board, I figured out it was stomach acid I was feeling, not true hunger. My surgeon gave me a script for Omexprozal and my intense hunger is gone. I don't take it every day, just when I feel I need it.
  5. Holy crap, that's amazing progress in 6 months! Well done
  6. Hun, take a deep breath and focus I am 10 months post op, now under my goal and have been maintaining for over 2 months now. In the past I have lost over 100 lbs twice. And both times I started to regain almost immediately. The sleeve is a great tool BUT you need to keep your head in the game. Listen to what your surgeon tells you. Be educated. Know what you can do. Listen to your body. You can and will do this!!! Best of luck
  7. Today is 2 months since i reached goal, i have actually lost 5 additional pounds since april 14. I'm at the low end of my range but feeling great. I have reached goal so many other times prior to being sleeved. But immediately began regaining the weight. To be 2 months past goal and not begun to gain is truly a miracle. I love my sleeve! Congrats to all you big losers!
  8. Libbe - Well done! I can totally relate to the loose skin issues. I have it hanging EVERYWHERE! Not a great look for bathing suit seasoh (or sleeveless dresses/tops for that matter) but oh well...it's better than the alternative - Been there, done that... I'm comfortably under my goal weight of 140 and would like 136 to be the bottom of the range I've given myself. (with 139 being the top number) The hardest part for me now is finding the optimum calories per day to maintain. BTW - I think a monthly thread is a great idea. Happy Mothers day to all
  9. I love this thread. Everyone is doing great! I was down .6 this morning as I continue to lose despite reaching goal. I have given myself a range between 137 and 139.9 as a maintenance goal, I prefer to never see the 140's again.
  10. Pagie, I feel your pain! Especially when you're so close to the 100lb mark... Have you tried shaking things up? If you're doing low carb, try increasing them. Low calorie? Add more. Sometimes our bodies get too comfortable with routine and changing your eating routine or workout routine is enough to kick it into high gear and show a scale loss. I have also found that the more I obsess over reaching a weight goal, the more stubborn my body. Stress, whether conscious of unconscious, can make it harder to drop the weight. Case in point - I reach my goal last week. And this week, the week after I reached goal, I lost 1.6 lbs. One of the largest weekly losses in a while. I think because I wasn't stressing or obsessing about losing any weight this week! You are doing great so try not to be discouraged. It's impossible not to continue to lose if you're doing everything right
  11. Thanks. I'm only taking the Bariatric fusion Vitamins. No need for any other supplements according to my surgeon and my labs (from August thru March when last done) are all within normal range. The price is right for me
  12. I have been drinking two cups a day for months now. I don't think I could live without my Protein hot chocolate! I buy mine from mybariatricpantry.com (the amaretto hot chocolate) Love, love, LOVE it! I will drink it forever
  13. Kristina - I think you will know when you hit the right weight. It might take some time but it wil happen! Libbe - toning is my biggest issue right now. I haven't been working out, add that to aging skin and pre surgery sag due to years of yo you dieting and I'm a mess without clothes on! (but I'm looking damn good fully dressed ) Drum rollplease - I hit my goal (actually .6 under on) this week. Yay for me!
  14. You look fantastic!!! Your smile says it all
  15. You look AMAZING!!!!!!!!
  16. I have never had much luck with that company. I emailed them four different times asking about specific product availability and never received a response. Surprised me so I went elsewhere.
  17. I have been using Bariatric fusion since my surgery in August. I love the wild berry and take 3 a day. My labs are great and I haven't had to use any other supplements. (and I have not experienced any hair loss!) HIghly recommend them
  18. Happy Easter to those who Celebrate I was down .4 this week to 141 even. Just one little pound away from goal How's everyone else doing?
  19. Congrats to both of you, great losses! I was 141.4 this morning, only 1.4 from goal
  20. www.mybariatricpantry.com My staples still include the hot chocolate at 15 grams of Protein (I drink 2/day) , the nectar sweets capucchino latte protein powder mixed with ice coffee (23 grams of protein) and the maple brown sugar oatmeal (either 13 or 15 grams of protein) There are lots more products on their website, great prices and outstanding customer service. Hope this helps!
  21. 143,6 this morning baby! I'm only 3.6 from my goal. Kristina - I'm having similar issues with hunger, it's my new norm. I'm eating every 2-3 hours, mostly Protein and just trying to ignore it. I keep a huge bowl of grilled chicken pieces in my fridge and grab one when I'm close to eating my arm off. Each piece is approx 2 oz so minimal calories/carbs but filling. (I also take some to work and leave them in the fridge...) I know that's not a great answer but it's helping me. Hope that helps you a bit
  22. [quote name=Lisa ' timestamp='1330860565' post='280934] Those are loaded with sugar. Try Syntrax nectar cappuccino flavor. It has 24 grams of Protein, zero sugar, zero fat and is made with decaf coffee. I drink at least one every day!!!!....I'm totally addicted to them. Me too! (I mix mine with a cup of decaf coffee) I don't think I could make it thru a day without one.
  23. Just weighed in and I'm down 1.8 for the week. Just 6.2 lbs to goal! I have my 6 month Dr visit on Monday, I'm interested to see what the blood work shows. I'm feeling great although some days my hunger (real hunger) is at the same intensity as the pre surgery days. And I have succumbed to the call of the chocolate chip cookie on a few occasions. Hope everyone has a great weekend
  24. Hi everyone. I was down 1.4 to an even 148. Eight more pounds to goal! I have been struggling the last two weeks, I am constantly hungry, something I haven't felt in months. Very scary....
