  1. I'm three weeks out and have been using lots of this brand as it's an easy way to get my Protein in. My staples are the hot chocolate and oatmeal but I'm supplementing with either Inspire protein supplements or Synthrax nectar drinks. I'm not eating much "real" food (pureed) as it's so much easier to use the pre packaged (easy to eat, high protein) Curious whether anyone else is taking this approach. Over the last week, I've been able to get my calories up to 400-500 with protein averaging between 75-85 and carbs no higher than 25.. My weight loss is a little concerning, my first week I lost 9 lbs but the next two only resulted in a 3 pound loss. Comments or thoughts welcome
  2. I was sleeved on 8/25 so today I'm 15 days out. Most days all I can manage to get in are two Protein shakes and two teaspoons of either cottage cheese or ricotta. I tried refried Beans a few days ago and it was not good. I'm definately struggling to get my calories up. My weight loss has not been good either, My first week (during the clear liquid week) was 11 lbs but in the last week I have only lost 1 lb. I'm hoping it's my body's way of playing catch up as I'm only averaging 250 calories daily.
  3. I agree, each surgeon follows a different protocol. I didn't have a cather or a drain. And I spent one night in the hospital. The down side of not having the cath was that I was in the bathroom literally every hour all night long (but as long as I was up out of bed, I walked one lap around the floor.
  4. I'm curious as well (and was going to post something similar)
  5. Hi everyone. I'm scheduled for Aug 25!
