Hungry Hungry Hippo

I am 3 and a half weeks out and am so hungry all the time even after I eat. I am still eating mushy foods. I am very worried about this. Any suggestions?

I told my sister I am eating too much. She said what are you eating? I told her (just normal stuff for the mushy foods) following the NUTs instructions. and she said I sound like some anorexic girl. She said that is nothing.

In the beginning especially acid can be a problem. You can check with your dr, but a lot of then prescribe these meds immediately post op.

I fully agree w/Kelly. My surgeon prescribed prilosec and another for my gallbladder. I was taking both 2x a day morning and night. Dr said I can stop the prilosec and see how I do with acid reflux. I do fine, ( no acid) but noticed hunger feelings that I did not have before?! So I just decided yesterday to finish off w/prilosec perscription. BTW Im 7wks post-Op.
