Thanks for all the great suggestions and info, folks. This is why I love this forum - so many people willing to help and share!

I picked up some Citracal + D and some Centrum Multivitamins and will try the pills for now... neither are too big for my sleeve, I have been taking pills larger than both of them on surgeon's ok before now. Once these are gone I may switch to Celebrate Vitamins & calcium citrate, but for now I'm set.

You all are awesome!

Happy Friday to everyone!

Hi Bryn

The chewable Multivitamins were tolerable prior to surgery, but I couldn't do them afterwards. About day 6 post-op I called the nurse hotline. I was told to try swallowing the regular Multivitamin I had been taking prior. I did and it went down just fine. I have been swallowing them since. However, I did have some problems with the GIANT Calcium pills. I switched to the "petite" pills and they go down easier (ordered from Amazon). I also purchased the Calcet Creamy Bites and have one of those every night for "dessert." (Yummy).

My doc said at week 2 it was ok to swallow pills. Also could not stomach the Bariatric Advantage made me hurl. Went to Vitamin Shoppe and taste tested alot of chewables. Found one that went down fine. Got doc to look and he said they have alot of good stuff in them so OK. Also.....I find my Vitamins go down better in am with coffee....in afternoon I hurl. Try different times of day!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
